Stunt Jumps are one of the collections for GTA 5 100% completion. The other items are in the GTA 5 collectibles section.
What counts as a stunt jump
When your vehicle leaves the ramp, the game switches to slow motion.
- You have to land in the right zone, which isn't marked in any way.
- You can't crash. Some jumps also require you to fly a certain distance.
- Land level, on all wheels. On a motorcycle the rear wheel should touch down first. Adjust your tilt in the air with the left stick.
- A successful jump shows "Stunt jump completed" and a counter of the remaining jumps. A failure shows "Stunt Jump Failed".
- Clean landing but "Stunt Jump Failed"? Then you landed outside the zone. According to PowerPyx, GTABoss and GamerGuides, you usually lack speed, less often you overshoot. Take a longer run-up or a faster vehicle.
- According to GTA Wiki, jumps aren't saved in Mission Replay, even if the message appears.
The ramps aren't marked on the map. According to GTA Wiki, they're shown on the in-game Junk Energy Drink website, on the "Adrenaline Junkies" tab.
Which vehicle and character to use
A motorcycle is the easiest option for most ramps. An ATV works for dirt ramps. For a few ramps, guides recommend a car; you'll see this in the tables.
Franklin is the best character for jumps. His special ability slows down time while driving. According to PowerPyx, each jump also raises the Driving skill of the character who makes it.
See the GTA 5 vehicles section for where to get a motorcycle or an off-roader.
Map: where all 50 stunt jumps are
The numbers on the maps match the tables below. The dots are placed by in-game coordinates, so the distances between them are true to the game. The first map covers Los Santos and the south, the second Blaine County and the north.
All 50 jumps: the airport, the port and south Los Santos
Numbering follows GTA Wiki. Other guides number the jumps differently, so check by area and ramp. The direction shows where to jump. "—" means there's no specific advice: take a motorcycle or a fast car. The areas are on the GTA 5 map.

Stunt jumps and 100%
For 100%, any 25 of the 50 jumps will do. All 50 are needed only for the Show Off achievement ("Complete all Stunt Jumps."), which exists in both PC Enhanced and Legacy. Sources disagree on whether story mode gives any other reward. GTABase says new paint colours unlock at Los Santos Customs after 5, 10 and 25 jumps. GTA Wiki, however, lists those colours (Sunrise Orange, Dew Yellow and Lime Green) among GTA Online unlocks, where stunt jumps also exist, and GTABoss and PowerPyx mention no story-mode reward besides Show Off. Other rewards are on the GTA 5 achievements page.
Tips
- If #1 is blocked, it's because of Dom. According to GamesRadar, Dom can block the ramp by the airport's east entrance, and then you have to do his mission first.
- Save before each jump. GTABase and GamerGuides recommend a quick save from the phone right by the ramp: after a failed attempt you reload in the same spot.
- Uphill landings. At #15 in El Burro Heights the landing zone slopes uphill, so, according to PowerPyx, keep the front wheel higher than usual.
- Do them in batches. The airport (#1–3), Elysian Island (#5–12) and La Puerta (#20–23) can each be cleared in one trip.
- Combine routes. Along the way, pick up spaceship parts, letter scraps and peyote, and from the air, fly under the bridges.

Any 25 of the 50. All 50 are only needed for the Show Off achievement.
Why didn't my stunt jump count?
Most often it is speed: you fell short of the zone or flew past it. Other causes are a crash, a bad landing angle and a mission replay, where jumps are not recorded.
How do you get the Show Off achievement?
Complete all 50 stunt jumps in free roam in story mode.
Are stunt jumps marked on the GTA 5 map?
No. Neither the ramps nor the landing zones are marked on the in-game map.
