Will GTA 6 have cheat codes on PS5 and Xbox? What is known officially, why every "GTA 6 code" online before launch is made up, how cheats worked in GTA 5 and when a real list will appear here.
Will GTA 6 have cheats
Officially, nobody knows. Rockstar has not published a single GTA 6 cheat code or mentioned them in pre-release materials. Cheats are a series tradition, from GTA III to GTA 5, so the odds are good, but there is no guarantee.
The "full list of GTA 6 cheat codes for PS5 and Xbox" pages already up on other sites are placeholders or fiction: the game is not out yet, so nobody can test any codes.
How cheats worked in GTA 5
- Consoles: a controller button combination during play.
- In-game phone: dialing a special number.
- PC: typing a word into the console.
- Cheats disabled trophies and achievements for the rest of the session and did not work in GTA Online.
If GTA 6 keeps cheats, the logic will most likely be similar, but that is our assumption.
When real codes will appear here
In the first days after November 19, players usually find and test codes. As soon as they are confirmed on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, we will publish tables by platform with the effect of each code.
