Rockstar has officially introduced eight GTA 6 characters: Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, the duo Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder. Who they are and how they connect, based on the official descriptions.
Jason Duval
Jason grew up around grifters and hustlers. After the army he ended up in the Keys, Leonida's island chain, working for local drug runners. Rockstar sums him up in one line: "Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder." Meeting Lucia could be the best or the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Lucia Caminos
Her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. A fight in defense of her family landed Lucia in Leonida Penitentiary, and she got out only through luck. Her mother has dreamed of a better life for her ever since their days in Liberty City. In the official words, "A life with Jason could be her way out."
In the game you can switch between Jason and Lucia. Whether they are a couple or just partners depends on the player, according to Rockstar North's Rob Nelson in an interview with Famitsu.
Cal Hampton
Jason's friend, who also works for Brian. He spends most of his time at home, listening to Coast Guard radio and believing whatever he reads online. Rockstar's line on him is wry: "Cal is at the low tide of America and happy there."
Brian Heder
An old-school drug smuggler from the Keys' "golden age". He runs his business out of his own boatyard with his third wife, Lori, and lets Jason live rent-free in exchange for help with "local business".
Boobie Ike
A Vice City local legend who turned his street past into a legitimate empire: real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Together with Dre'Quan he owns the label Only Raw Records.
Dre'Quan Priest
A young music producer who, in the official description, is more hustler than gangster. He is the one who signed the duo Real Dimez to Only Raw Records.
Real Dimez
A duo of school friends, Bae-Luxe and Roxy. They make rap tracks and are all over social media; they scored an early hit with local rapper DWNPLY. Now they are signed to Only Raw Records.
Raul Bautista
A seasoned bank robber who scouts talent for risky jobs. Rockstar's warning: "Raul's recklessness raises the stakes with every score."
Other names from official materials
The edition and radio descriptions mention other characters, without explaining their roles: the fixer Wyman, who gives out classic car jobs in the Ultimate Edition, Brian's wife Lori, the rapper DWNPLY, Back Country Radio reporter Mud Dog Mike, and the mascots Macca the Gator and Chunkee the Manatee.
The voice actor names circulating online come from fans comparing voices; Rockstar has not confirmed a single actor. We deliberately do not publish characters or details from the 2022 leak.
