GTA Vice City 100% completion: all missions, 100 hidden packages, 36 jumps, 35 rampages, 15 robberies, safehouses and side jobs. Interactive checklist, reward and version differences.

In short
  • For 100% in GTA Vice City you need every story mission, all business and gang missions, 5 assassinations, 5 vehicle side missions and every race.
  • Collectibles and stunts: 100 hidden packages, 35 rampages, 36 unique stunt jumps and 15 robbed stores.
  • You also need to buy all 7 paid safehouses ($41,500) and score 45 points at the Ammu-Nation shooting range.
  • The reward: 200 health and armor, infinite ammo, double vehicle durability, 3 bodyguards and the Frankie outfit.
  • The Hunter and $100,000 come from the 100 hidden packages, not from 100%.

What 100% in GTA Vice City requires

Your completion percentage is shown in the game stats. The list below follows GTA Wiki (fandom), cross-checked with GTABase and the PowerPyx guide for the Definitive Edition. The set of tasks is the same across sources; only the counts differ — what is counted as story and what as business.

Interactive GTA Vice City 100% checklist

Tick off what you have done — progress is saved only in your browser, no sign-up needed. Story missions follow the GTA Wiki list (22 entries), with the mission giver in brackets. Hidden packages are grouped by district with GTA Wiki numbers; the full list is on the hidden packages page. Rampages and jumps are one entry each: the game tracks them in the stats. Only GTA Wiki lists the 15 stores to rob, so check the in-game stats as well.

What 100% in GTA Vice City gives you

  • maximum health — 200;
  • maximum armor — 200;
  • infinite ammo for all weapons;
  • double durability for vehicles Tommy Vercetti drives;
  • up to 3 bodyguards at the Vercetti Estate (according to GTA Wiki, $2,000 each);
  • the Frankie outfit at the Vercetti Estate;
  • in the 2015 PS4 version and the Definitive Edition — the Done it All achievement ("Earn 100% completion").

Common myths about the reward

  • "100% gives you the Hunter." No. The Hunter helicopter appears for 100 hidden packages, and at Fort Baxter, according to GTA Wiki, also after the final mission. It is not on the lists of 100% rewards.
  • "100% gives you the Mr Vercetti outfit." No, 100% unlocks the Frankie outfit at the Vercetti Estate.
  • "100% gives you $100,000." That money is the bonus for the hundredth package. Details are on the GTA Vice City hidden packages page.

What is NOT required for 100%

  • Keepie-Uppy — keeping the ball up on the beach;
  • the bus minigame;
  • Good Citizen Bonus;
  • the extra 5 levels of Checkpoint Charlie — they only pay money;
  • ratings like Butcher or Godfather and "Stuff of Legends" — these only matter for achievements.

Order and tips

  1. Buy businesses early. Sales open after "Shakedown". The sooner you buy, the more money piles up for the safehouses and the rest of the businesses. Prices and income are on the map page.
  2. Do the vehicle side missions early. Their bonuses from the table above last for the rest of the game, and Vigilante’s 150 armor and Pizza Boy’s 150 health make the remaining story easier.
  3. Collect hidden packages in stages. The 55 packages in the east are available before the bridges open, the other 45 after "Phnom Penh '86". At 80 packages you get the Sea Sparrow — handy for the rooftop packages.
  4. Sunshine Autos. Each of the 4 Import Garage lists raises the dealership's daily income — up to $9,000 after the fourth.
  5. Do the range separately from the mission. According to GTA Wiki, your score inside "The Shootist" does not count: go back to the Downtown Ammu-Nation and score 45 points.
  6. Chopper Checkpoints. The first three open after "Rub Out", the fourth, in Downtown, after "G-Spotlight".
  7. Timing the stadium. Every save moves the clock 6 hours forward. Events at the Hyman Memorial Stadium run on a schedule, so the easy way to reach the right hour is to save at the nearby Hyman Condo.
  8. Safehouses last. The seven properties for $41,500 are easy to buy in one go once the businesses are bringing in money.
  9. No cheats. According to PowerPyx, codes disable achievements in the Definitive Edition, so play without them for Done it All. Codes for regular play are on the cheats page.

Every mission is described in the GTA Vice City missions section.

How the versions differ

  • 2012 mobile version — according to GTA Wiki, safehouses and businesses cost half as much.
  • PS4 2015 (PS2 Classics) — according to GTA Wiki, 34 trophies, including Done it All, City Sleuth and Daredevil. The same source says that on some releases, PS4 among them, the Sparrow for the Little Haiti Chopper Checkpoint and the Top Fun vans for the RC missions may fail to spawn.
  • Definitive Edition 2021 — same requirements and rewards. Steam has 34 achievements; the ones tied to this page are Done it All (100%), City Sleuth (100 packages), Daredevil (36 jumps) and Grand Theft Auto (all Import Garage cars).

All editions of the trilogy are covered in the GTA Trilogy section.
