RDR2 trophies are 51 achievements plus the PlayStation-only platinum, Legend of the West, for 52 in total. The numbers match across GTABase, the PowerPyx guide and the game's official Steam list (51 entries). There is no native PS5 version, so on PS5 you earn the same list as the PS4 version.

Missable trophies in RDR2
PowerPyx lists four missable trophies, and all of them are tied to the gang camp, which only exists in Chapters 2–4:
- Lending a Hand is the trickiest: all optional honor missions have to be done in one playthrough. Some are marked in yellow, some with a white Stranger marker.
- Friends With Benefits: one camp activity in each of the Chapter 2, 3 and 4 camps.
- Give to the Poor: $250 in the gang box before the end of Chapter 4.
- Errand Boy: 5 errands for gang members before the end of Chapter 4.
Tip: keep a separate manual save at the start of every chapter, so a mistake can be fixed without a new playthrough.

The longest one is rank 50 (175,300 XP, according to PowerPyx). The rest unlock along the way, and some are easier with a friend in your posse.
Best in the West: what 100% requires
According to the player wiki, 100% requires: all story missions, 10 Stranger questlines, 5 bounty hunting missions, 25 random events, 6 gang hideouts, the full cigarette card set, the dinosaur bone, fish and rock carving quests, 20 dreamcatchers, 9 graves after the story, compendium entries (50 animals, 10 fish, 10 horse breeds, 20 plants, 48 weapons, 6 gangs), level 10 Health, Stamina and Dead Eye, horse bond level 4, all 90 challenges and 5 legendary animals. Track progress in the pause menu: Progress → Total Completion.
Cheats and trophies
While a cheat is active, RDR2 doesn't save and doesn't award trophies. A phrase that has been entered but not switched on blocks nothing. All 37 codes are on the RDR2 cheats page.
Platinum roadmap
- Take Chapters 1–4 slowly. Clear all four missable trophies, camp activities and the camp box, and study the animals you come across.
- Story through the end of the Epilogue. Gold medals (70 needed) can be cleaned up later by replaying missions.
- Post-story. Graves, the squirrel statue, Strangers, legendary animals and fish, the compendium: everything to 100%.
- Online in parallel. Rank 50 is the longest stretch, so split it into short sessions.
