Оновлено: 31.10.2026 Автор: Alex Rayne

GTA Online price as of October 31, 2026: standalone on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as part of GTA 5 on consoles and PC, prices in the US and other countries, GTA+, Shark Cards and which subscriptions you need to play online.

Коротко
  • GTA Online is sold on its own only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: $19.99 in the US.
  • The full GTA V (Story Mode + GTA Online) costs $39.99 on PlayStation Store and Xbox and $29.99 on Steam.
  • To play online you need PS Plus on PlayStation and Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate on Xbox; PC needs no extra subscription.
  • GTA+ costs $7.99 a month and adds GTA$500,000 every month.
  • Shark Cards range from $4.99 for GTA$250,000 to $99.99 for GTA$10,000,000.
  • A 50% sale runs until November 2 to 5, 2026; regular prices are listed below, with the sale in the notes.

GTA Online price: the short version

The GTA Online price depends on your platform: on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S you can buy the online mode on its own for $19.99, while on PC and older consoles it only comes with GTA V. The prices below are regular prices from PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store as of October 31, 2026. A 50% sale is running right now: on PlayStation Store and Steam until November 5, on Epic until November 2, 2026.

Sale prices are in brackets. We did not check UK prices for this page; the Epic Games Store shows prices by location, so we only have a confirmed figure for one region. Buying "GTA V (PS4 & PS5)" gets you both digital versions; on Xbox Series X|S the full game is GTA Online plus the Story Mode add-on. For the single-player game, see the GTA 5 price page.

Standalone GTA Online or the full GTA 5

Standalone GTA Online (available since March 2022) is the cheapest way to play online on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It has no Story Mode, but you can add it later in the game: on Xbox Series X|S the Story Mode add-on costs $19.99 ($10.00 until November 5).

  • Get standalone GTA Online if you have already played the GTA V story or don't care about it.
  • Get the full GTA V if you want both modes: in the US the gap over standalone Online is $20.
  • On PC there is no standalone GTA Online: the online mode is part of GTA V Enhanced, and the Steam and Epic purchase also includes the Legacy version.
  • If you own the PS4 or digital Xbox One version, the upgrade to PS5 / Xbox Series X|S has been free since June 18, 2026, and your online progress comes with you. Details are on the where to play GTA Online page.

Subscriptions for online play: PS Plus and Game Pass

  • PlayStation: GTA Online requires PS Plus. GTA V (PS4 and PS5) is currently in the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog, but it leaves on November 17, 2026.
  • Is GTA Online free with PS Plus on PS5? Not right now. The "Included" label on the GTA Online page in PlayStation Store means access for GTA+ members. The game was only free on PS5 for three months after launch, from March 15 to June 14, 2022.
  • Xbox: you need Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate. GTA V has not been in the Game Pass catalog since April 15, 2026.
  • PC: no separate subscription for online play, just a Rockstar Games account.

GTA+: what you get and what it costs

GTA+ is Rockstar's GTA Online membership on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (GTA V Enhanced only). It costs $7.99 a month on PlayStation Store and Steam; there is no yearly plan.

  • GTA$500,000 added to your account every month;
  • Shark Cards with 15% more GTA$;
  • monthly perks: vehicles, liveries, clothing, discounts and GTA$ multipliers;
  • The Vinewood Club with a 100-car garage;
  • a library of Rockstar games (as of October 31, 2026: GTA V, Red Dead Redemption, GTA: The Trilogy, Bully, L.A. Noire, GTA: Liberty City Stories, GTA: Chinatown Wars and others).

Is it worth it? GTA$500,000 a month is less than a single Cayo Perico finale, so GTA+ makes sense if you use the perks and the game library, not just for the money.

PlayStation Store prices for PS5 as of October 31, 2026. GTA$ you buy only go to the version on the same console generation and do not carry over between generations. Before buying cards, check out how to make money in GTA Online for free: the GTA$10 million in a $99.99 Megalodon card is roughly ten good runs of Cayo Perico solo.

"Cheap GTA$" from third-party sellers and "money drop" services break Rockstar's rules: that money gets removed and the account can be banned. More on the GTA Online cheats page.
