Rockstar announced on the Newswire on October 29 that Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, composed by French duo Justice, arrives December 11 on streaming services, CD and vinyl. Physical pre-orders are already open, a little over three weeks after the game itself launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay wrote an adaptive score
Justice are the Grammy-winning pair of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Rockstar describes their work as an adaptive score, with compositions tuned to the different ways players move through Vice City and Leonida over the course of Jason and Lucia’s story.
The album has 30 tracks, plus a number of digital bonus tracks included across all formats. The duo’s store puts the whole thing at roughly three hours of music from the game. It is released through Genesis, Ed Banger Records and Because Music.
Only two tracks are officially confirmed so far. “Flower in a Hurricane” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard played in the launch trailer, and “Pusher” featuring Gesaffelstein dropped alongside the announcement. Rockstar has not published a full tracklist.
Four editions are listed, with clear vinyl as the collector’s pick
The Justice store page lists a double CD, triple black vinyl, a limited triple Crystal Clear vinyl and a digital edition, with bonus content on every physical format. The duo’s Bandcamp prices everything in euros.
| Edition | Price | Listed at |
|---|---|---|
| Triple Crystal Clear vinyl (limited) | €45 | Justice Bandcamp |
| Double CD (UV gloss digisleeve) | €17 | Justice Bandcamp |
| Double CD | $19.98 | Amazon, per IGN |
| Digital album | from €11 | Justice Bandcamp |
The triple black vinyl is sold through the Justice store but not on Bandcamp, so we are not quoting a price for it.
Don’t confuse it with the album that ships with the game
The score is a separate release from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the various-artists soundtrack Rockstar is taking pre-orders for at gtavi-thealbum.com. Original Score is the music Justice wrote for the game itself. For the licensed music on air, see our GTA 6 radio stations guide, and the launch timeline lives on our release date page.
The timing works in players’ favour: you hear the score in context first, then get it on its own three weeks later. If you collect vinyl, the clear pressing is the one to grab early, since Rockstar itself calls it limited.
