There are no official GTA 6 system requirements because the game is not coming to PC at launch. Here is which console you need, how much space the game may take, why the "GTA 6 requirements" tables online are made up and what is known about PS5 Pro.
What you need to play GTA 6
One of these consoles is enough: PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) or Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not set any model-specific requirements: Xbox Series S is on the official platform list, and the game gets improvements on PS5 Pro (the "PS5 Pro Enhanced" label).
You will need an internet connection to download the game and a PlayStation Network or Xbox account.
How much space GTA 6 will take
There is no official file size yet. During pre-orders the game's Xbox Store page shows 328.76 MB, which is only a placeholder package, not the full game. Numbers like "150 GB" or "210 GB" that have appeared in the news are not officially confirmed.
Practical advice: by November 12, when pre-loading starts, free up as much space on your console as you can, at least a few hundred gigabytes. As soon as the size shows up in the stores, we will add it here.
Why "GTA 6 PC requirements" are fake
Rockstar has not announced a PC version, so it has not published system requirements either. The tables of CPUs, graphics cards and RAM floating around websites and videos are guesswork or outright fabrication, often designed to lure you to a "download" page with malware.
