When GTA 6 comes out
The official GTA 6 release date is November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games announced it on November 6, 2025, and it has not changed since: in August 2026 Take-Two built its full-year financial forecast on the "November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI".
The game launches only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There will be no PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2 or PC version at launch.
What time GTA 6 unlocks
Rockstar has not given an exact time. In every region we checked, PlayStation Store and Xbox Store list access from 12:00 AM local time on November 19. In the US that means 12:00 AM Eastern for the whole country, which is 05:00 UTC.

After the second delay Rockstar opened pre-orders (June 25), showed extended gameplay (August 27) and released the Launch Trailer (October 15), all steps of a final marketing push.
Could GTA 6 be delayed again
There are no official signs of it. Launch is less than three weeks away, pre-orders are live in every store, pre-loading is scheduled for November 12, and Take-Two has the release in its financial plan. On November 9 the company reports its second-quarter results, the last big event where news about the date could in theory come up. We will update this page if anything changes.
